Exciting Additions to our Leadership Team!

Ryan Ayala

Ryan is excited to be joining Camp Nashoba North’s Leadership Team as Co-Head of Boys and Adventure Director. He currently teaches ninth grade English in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Ryan began his Nashoba experience in 2013 as a climbing instructor and cabin counselor. Ryan will be helping to oversee the boys’ unit as well as activities he is passionate about such as Rock Climbing and Trips. He describes one of his favorite camp memories as seeing the stars over Crescent Lake and remembering that Camp Nashoba North is always there. When asked what camp means to him Ryan said, “I love teaching and camp allows me to practice in a different capacity, it means I have an opportunity to reach students over the summer as well. I’ve been to other camps but they are not the same. I keep coming back to Nashoba because it is timeless and instills positive values and encourages meaningful friendships with campers and counselors alike.”

Bella Ward

As our musical theater director and cabin staff member the past two summers, Bella is thrilled to be returning to Camp Nashoba North in a Co-Head of Girls role. A graduate of Lancaster University, she is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Education. In addition to the girls’ unit, she will be helping to oversee the Theatre and Dance programs, ones that she is passionate and experienced in. When asked about her favorite camp memory Bella said, “I love seeing the campers try things they normally don’t get the chance to do like the musical, performing in Palooza, or joining the sailing team!” To Bella, Camp Nashoba North means family and friendship. She remarks that she “thinks it’s amazing how campers and staff will band together to help and support one another.”

Thank you Bella and Ryan for all of your hard work at CNN so far, and we look forward to your continued efforts in your new positions!
