What kind of fun things do you get to do at Nashoba North?

There are tons of fun things to do at camp. Activity wise, there are lots of different things you can do. There are lots of different sports and arts, as well as the waterfront. Outside of daily activities, there are lots of fun evening activities you do with your cabin mates. You can also go on trips and compete against different camps in some sports.

What is your favorite part of camp?

My favorite part of Nashoba North is the people. Everyone at Nashoba North is fun and kind, I couldn’t ask for better people to spend my summer with. Cabin nights are some of my favorite memories at camp, as well as full camp activities such as campfire. Going to camp allowed me to meet people from all across the world, and they have become some of my closest friends.

What kind of fun things do you get to do at Nashoba North?

You get to do all kinds of fun things at camp. There are tons of different activities varying from soccer to sailing to drums to animal care. Everyone can find an activity that they love. My passion is fishing, so I try to do as much of that as possible. At the end of the day, the whole camp gets together to do a fun activity. This can range from the whole camp playing capture the flag, to my favorite, a live action game of Clue.

What is your favorite part of camp?

I really have 2 favorite parts of camp.  I love getting to know my cabin mates and spending free time with them.  We love to play cards before lights out.  My second favorite part of camp is the activities.  I spend a lot of my time fishing and have learned a lot at camp, but I love many other activities.  Two of my favorites are sailing and wakeboarding.  I also get to try new activities such as windsurfing, which I tried for the first time last year and really enjoyed.

What kind of fun things do you get to do at Nashoba North?

I like getting to know my counselors and cabin mates, who are all super nice.  We have special nights at camp – like Casino Night, Arts Night, the 4th of July celebration, Cribs Night (where we transform our cabins into a store or place of our choice), and the Lip Sync Show, all of which are lots of fun!  I love activities I don’t get to do at home like arts and crafts, tubing, pottery, photography, animal care, and cooking.  Even though last year was my first summer, I performed in the musical Shrek and it was a blast!!

What is your favorite part of camp?

All the friends I make and the fun times we have.  I also enjoy spending time with my big sister at camp.

What can you do at Nashoba North that you can’t do anywhere else?

Swimming in the beautiful Crescent Lake, hiking trips, outdoor archery, pottery, animal care, etc. Also, you can audition for a musical and everybody can get in even if you don’t have any acting experience. I was so nervous about auditioning for the musical Mulan but I’m so glad I did because it was one of the best plays I could ever imagine!

Tell us about the Nashoba North staff.

All of the staff are nice, funny and kind. They make sure you’re comfortable away from home. And counselors in some cabins read you a book before going to bed that everyone agrees on. My counselors Emma, Jemma, and Jess and Hannah our JC took turns each night and read Harry Potter to us!

What is your favorite part of camp life?

My favorite part was the waterfront – I love swimming, the carnival and the beautiful view of the lake! Also meeting many new friends from all over the world is a blast. I get to learn so much about different kids from different cultures. I can’t wait to see many of them again this summer!

What do Sunday night campfires down at the lake mean to you?

That was another favorite part of my camp life! I felt so happy and it was so fun making s’mores with twigs.
