Campers enjoy learning how to make a wide range of delicious treats from home made pickles and pretzels to banana bread, and of course cookies! Classes are small in size and offer individual instruction in our beautiful Plummer Hall. Always using their brain power, future chefs learn to weigh, measure, distribute and mix ingredients on a constant basis. Campers get to test their sense of smell and taste all in an action packed hour. Our culinary staff discuss the value of cooking with locally sourced produce and offer trips to our favorite Mulberry Farm just down the road. On Sunday afternoons, trip staff have the opportunity to take campers down to the yurt at the lake, to cook over an open flame. Campers always make enough to share with the rest of their cabin and are eager to show off their treats!
